Abstract
We present the new Si, Al, Fe, Ti, K, Ca,Mg,Na data obtained by PIXEmeasurements on the insoluble dust from21 samples ( intercomparison samples, onwards INTC) from EDC ice core, spanning the LGM-to-Holocene transition(20 to 10 kyr B.P.), along with the totaldust mass determined by Coulter Counteron the same samples. Improvedexperimental set-up and data evaluationhave been applied for the first time to the analysis of about 42 samples from the two EPICA ice cores (EDC and EDML).
