Abstract
This review of the reproductive biology of Calanus finmarchicus includes a description of the reproductive system and its development and biochemical aspects of gonadogenesis and oogenesis. Spawning and the factors controlling it, aspects of the timing of reproduction, and applications of egg production measurement are also dealt with. © 1995 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
