Abstract

Correlation between air temperature and distribution of biological indicators is used for development of statistical models that should be used regionally. Application of non-regional models for palaeoclimatic reconstructions inevitably leads to quantitative errors and can cause errors in climate modeling. Ways of improvement of the temperature inference models are discussed.
